About Originalfonts
Originalfonts.com is a free font library. Our goal is simple: help you find the right font quickly, see exactly how it looks with your own words, and know what you’re allowed to do with it before you download.
What you’ll find here
- More than 2,000 free font families, from clean sans serifs and classic serifs to calligraphy, pixel, handwritten and cute fonts.
- Fonts for many languages, including Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai and many more.
- Live previews. Type your own text and see it in every font at once, then try every weight in the type tester on each font’s page.
- Clear license information. Every font page shows its license and a plain-English “Can I use it?” summary.
- Free tools and guides, like the Logo Text Maker, Font Pairing ideas and step-by-step font guides.
Where our fonts come from
We only list fonts whose licenses allow them to be shared for free. Most of our library comes from the Google Fonts collection, which is released under open licenses such as the SIL Open Font License and the Apache License. These fonts are free for personal and commercial use. Every download includes the font’s original license file, and we credit each font’s designer on its page.
Free for everyone
You don’t need an account, and downloads are always free. Originalfonts is supported by ads, which help us pay for the server and keep adding new fonts and features.
